Production expansion and extension of the Hungarian site
Der Plan Optik Konzern baut seine Fertigungskapazitäten weiter aus und hat hierfür jetzt eine neue Produktionshalle in Ungarn angemietet.
Mit der neuen Halle erweitert Plan Optik die Produktionsflächen im ungarischen Szekszárd von 400 auf rund 2.000 Quadratmeter. Hinzu kommen Büro- und Verwaltungsflächen mit einer Größe von 400 Quadratmetern. Plan Optik produziert schon seit dem Jahr 2020 in Ungarn und baut den Standort der Tochtergesellschaft POH Termeló és Kereskedelmi Kft jetzt zu einem größeren Standort mit neuen Fertigungstechnologien aus. Nach Abschluss aller Installationen und dem Umzug sollen so die Fertigungskapazitäten in Ungarn bis zum Jahresbeginn 2025 deutlich gesteigert werden.
Der Standort in Ungarn übernimmt in Zukunft die Produktion weiterer Volumenprodukte, die bislang an den deutschen Standorten hergestellt wurden. Die Verlagerung von zusätzlichen Fertigungsschritten nach Ungarn senkt dabei nicht nur die Herstellkosten. Sie ermöglicht es den Standorten in Deutschland auch, die Ressourcen für das Wachstum in anderen und neuen Bereichen einzusetzen.
The German sites in Elsoff in the Westerwald and Siegen will utilise the capacities freed up by the relocation from next year for their planned growth in the field of microsystems technology. Here, for example, Plan Optik develops and produces the smallest components based on the carrier material glass for miniaturisation in microelectronics, for modern sensors or for new possibilities in microfluidics, for example in medical technology or pharmaceuticals.
